SAT Test
SAT Registration

The SAT I or reasoning test, produces a Critical Reading, Mathematics, and Writing score.  Each of the three areas are scored on a 200-800 scale, with a possible top score of 2400.

The SAT II or subject test, produces a score in one particular subject.  These subject matter tests are one hour in length and measure a student's achievement level in a specific area, such as foreign language, history, or science.  Up to three SAT II tests can be taken on one test date.  Some selective colleges require one or more SAT II's for admission.

Only students planning to attend a four-year college should take the SAT.  It is not necessary for a two-year college or technical college in Georgia.
