First Annual Event Benefitting the Douglas County School System
The Douglas County School System and Foxhall Resort and Sporting Club have entered into a unique partnership to offer a number of outdoor education and exploration experiences for our students in the coming years. One of the first co-sponsored events is the Foxhall Family Festival set for Saturday, October 27th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The festival is a benefit for participating schools in the Douglas County School System and for district-wide recognition programs. Admission tickets are $5 per person (children 3 and under admitted free) and will be available at our schools and online. Foxhall is located at 8700 Capps Ferry Road.
Many free events will be available at the festival and others will have a $1 or $2 charge. In addition to traditional fall festival attractions such as inflatables, game booths, hayrides, mazes, and a potential haunted house, there will be outdoor sporting events for youth including fishing, canoeing, archery and more. Runs are planned for elementary, middle and high school ages. Food will be available for purchase at the festival or families can bring their own picnic.
Your support and participation will benefit our students. For additional information, view the video at this link: Foxhall Family Festival.
