I have been teaching Visual Arts in high school in the Douglas County School System

for the last fifteen years.

I've started teaching for the FAME program (Fine Arts Magnet Education) within our high school.  I have the freshman through upperclassman levels and it is a challenge that I always look forward to!

I grew up a "military brat," as my father served in the United States Air Force for nearly thirty years, so I've moved around quite a bit...but I've always felt that somehow that added to who I am as a person - I've experienced several different places, cultures, and people, so I really feel blessed by it.  It also really helped me learn the art of adapting to different situations, and I feel that I bring that to my classroom as well.  I'm inspired by music, nature, and of course, my students!  I am a painter and a drawer mostly, but I do love ceramics as well...I appreciate all forms of art, and I support all of the programs we offer at New Manchester Hish School.  I am grateful to be here and for the opportunity to work with your student.
